The Allergy Gene, W.H. Irwin McLean, The Scientist, Dec 2010

We thought you would enjoy this recent article by Prof. Irwin McLean, one of the lead scientists in PC research. We think it demonstrates the power that comes from the collaborative efforts among the members working in the Int'l PC Consortium. We believe the meetings and discussions outside the lab are some of the key components in moving research forward. The 2004 meeting where Irwin, Frances and Phil spoke was a PC meeting. We are so glad to have been even a tiny speck in this valuable scientific discovery. When success comes for PC research, it will be due to the contributions of many great minds collaborating to make the breakthrough discoveries needed.
