PC Project PAST EVENT PC Project Patient Support Meeting
It is hard to believe this incredible weekend is over! In a word "fantastic." The synergy between patients and the exchange with physicians and scientists was amazing. Friday - a Buffet and informal reception at the Swallow Hotel in DundeeSaturday - the entire day was devoted to exchange of information, lots of discussion and opportunity to share and learn between PCers, family members, and specialists. Saturday evening - Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. A bus and driver took everyone one there and back. Dinner at 7 pm with special traditional entertainment following dinner. We are grateful to Porf. Irwin McLean and his associates including Prof. Frances Smith for setting up this PC Project Patient Support Meeting. We appreciate Dr. Sancy Leachman, Dr. Colin Munro, Dr. Edel O'Toole and Dr. Maurice van Steensel for their participation. Also, thanks to the scientists from the Dundee labs who met with us.
