PC Research Grants (RSG)

Applications and proposals are reviewed as received and there is no application deadline. A response will be given within six weeks and, if granted, funding will be made within three months of receipt of application.

PC Project 2005-2007
Career Development Award (CDA)

The PC Proejct CDA was announced in 2004. It is an award of $150,000 per year for three years to support an individual who will focus his/her career on translational research for Pachyonychia Congenita and closely related areas and to collaborate with other researchers to promote and further PC research. We are delighted to present this CDA award 2005-2007 to
Frances J.D. Smith, PhD.

PC Research GRANTS 2005---

We are pleased with progress on each of the 2004 Research and Support Goals set by PC Project and the PC Consortium. At the IPCC meeting in May 2005, a 'ribbon chart' was used so that each Grant Recipient could demonstrate their achievement towards their goal for the year. All of the 2004-2005 projects had success and formed a foundation for the continuation of research for PC.

The following projects are continued with collaboration among all researchers. Although CORT funding from the NIH was not granted in 2006, these are continuing projects and we are seeking alternate methods of additional funding.
