My Story:
Aurora

Eu segui buscando, pedindo a Deus que me guiasse.

The story of my little warrior Aurora.

From the day she was born, I knew my daughter was different, not in the sense of being less, but unique.
She came into the world with yellow nails, and the doctors believed it was jaundice. But a mother’s heart feels what the eyes cannot see.

Over time, her nails began to thicken, small wounds appeared, and within me grew the certainty that there was something more.

There were many sleepless nights, many unanswered questions, and a strength I didn’t even know I had. I kept searching, asking God to guide me. Until, at the Santa Casa de São Paulo hospital, they raised the suspicion of a rare disease called Congenital Pachyonychia (CP).

I contacted the PC Project, which lovingly sent us the genetic test. And it was at the end of 2023, at the turn of the year, while the world celebrated new beginnings, that we received the result: positive.

At that moment, the ground seemed to fall from under my feet. But then faith came. Because when God allows something like this, He also puts light on the path.
Today we move forward with courage, one day at a time, celebrating each small advance and learning to see beauty even in battles.

My daughter is living proof that miracles happen every day.
She faces pain with a smile that illuminates everything around her.
And I walk beside her, with a heart full of hope, believing that God will still do much more for us.

She is my greatest miracle.
God chose us for this mission, and we believe that, just as we were chosen, we will be witnesses to complete healing, because for God, the last word is always the miracle.
I move forward with faith, because where there is love, there is strength, and nothing is impossible!
