Please note, we are investigating how shopping for a charity like PC Project works in other countries and will provide more information about them as soon as we know. If you know of ways to shop for charities in your particular country, please let us know.
Thank you for supporting the important work of PC Project while you shop! The key is to remember to go through these sites to see if your favorite store is there, every time you make an online purchase.

For all United Kingdom Shoppers
Please use Give as You Live.
To date, UK shoppers have raised £378.65 for PC just by using Give as You Live and shopping online! And this is only from five users!!! Let’s get this number growing!
How to register:
- Go to the Website : https://www.giveasyoulive.com/ or download the Give as You Live app.
- Click on the Sign up button, enter your name, email address and chosen password.
- Under choose a charity to support, find Pachyonychia Congenita Project Europe (Scotland)
- Start shopping! Search for the store you want to visit either through the app or on the Give as you Live website. Once you’ve found your store, just follow their link to their website and Give as you Live do the rest! This ensures a donation is made to the PC Project based on your purchases.
Tips if you are on a desktop or laptop:
If you are on your computer (and not the app) you can do this even easier.
To do this, go to https://www.giveasyoulive.com/pages/donation-reminder, then click ‘Add to Chrome’.
This opens another page, and you again need to click ‘Add to Chrome’ where a box pops up with where you should click ‘Add Extension’.
A little heart representing Give as You Live then appears on the toolbar and you can use this to search for the website you require so that you will automatically make donations to PC Project.
Tips using the App:
Download the app, and whenever you want to make purchases online search for the shop you want. Donations will automatically then be made to PC Project. Please note that this only works for website purchases, not in app purchases.*
*For example, if you go to the ebay website you can raise up to 0.50% but if you use the ebay app this won’t work. Therefore if you use the Give as you Live app on your phone just open up the website you want to visit to ensure that the visit is tracked. Any questions please just ask! *

For all USA shoppers
There are two ways for those in the USA to raise funds through shopping:
- iGive.com – Create your free iGive account. After that, all you need to do is shop through the iGive.com website, newsletters, or install the optional iGive Button* to make sure you never miss an opportunity to raise money for PC Project when you shop online.
The process is all automatic, and it’s all free of charge. iGive lets you control your membership information with a private password. You can review your store visits and purchase/donation history, and confirm the total amount raised and distributed to your cause. iGive values your privacy and will never release shopper information without consent. And there are no hidden fees or extra costs when you shop through iGive. Start iGiving at: www.iGive.com/PCProject
*The iGive Button is an optional feature. You can use iGive without installing the Button. Just remember to go through the iGive website or e-mail newsletters when you shop. This way, a donation will go to PC Project when you buy something you would buy anyway. To learn more, visit: https://www.iGive.com/button
- Goodshop/Goodsearch – What is Goodshop? Goodshop is another site like iGive that provides shopping deals on the internet while also making a donation to the nonprofit of your choice for almost every purchase you make. That’s right – when you shop with Goodshop you don’t just save – you also give to PC Project at no extra cost.
On the Goodshop site is also an internet search feature called Goodsearch, which means each time you search the web through Yahoo!-powered Goodsearch, they will make a donation for the charity of your choice.
