In 2004, Sancy Leachman, MD, PhD, had the brilliant idea for PC Project to invite the best and brightest minds to Park City, Utah to explore ways to find a cure for Pachyonychia Congenita (PC). At that pivotal meeting, on the ski slopes and in a conference room, the International Pachyonychia Congenita Consortium (IPCC) was formed by experts, many who are still involved today.
