We’re thrilled to announce the addition of five exceptional new members to the PC Project Board of Directors. Their diverse backgrounds, passion for rare diseases, and commitment to advancing our mission will bring fresh insight and energy to our work. Please join us in welcoming:
Rutu Patel – Pharma Insight & Communications
Rutu blends deep experience in pharmaceutical communications with firsthand experience as both a spouse and parent to individuals with PC. Her insights and dedication have already benefitted the organization through past collaborations.
Bob Lindfors – Board Attorney & Secretary
Bob recently retired from a successful career in law and brings decades of nonprofit experience to the table. As a longtime advocate for equity and access in healthcare, he will serve as both our Board Attorney and Secretary. Bob is already rolling up his sleeves to strengthen our policies and ensure we have strong governance as we grow.
Nate Schwartz – Finance and Patient Perspective
Nate is the son of Executive Director Jan Schwartz and has had a front-row seat to the evolution of PC Project. Professionally, he brings a strong background in finance and risk assessment, and he’s eager to bring that expertise to our Board’s financial strategy. Nate is also deeply connected to our patient community and passionate about making a difference for families living with PC.
Roseann McGrath – Advocacy and Outreach
Roseann is Patient #1 in our registry—and has been a fierce advocate since day one. Her leadership of our Advocacy Team, support of Giving Tuesday, and dedication to PC Awareness Month have made her a guiding voice in our community. Now, as a Board member, she’ll continue amplifying patient stories and pushing for change.
Dr. John Doux – Dermatology, Pharma, and Financial Insight
A board-certified dermatologist and financial analyst, John brings deep medical and business expertise. He’s served on the boards of companies developing PC treatments and is currently on the board of Kamari Pharma. John is especially interested in helping PC Project build strong relationships with pharma partners and expanding our focus into PPK-related conditions.
Together, these new members bring valuable expertise in pharma, law, finance, research, communications, and patient advocacy—and most importantly, a shared passion for PC Project’s mission to help patients and accelerate a cure.
We’re honored to have them join our leadership and look forward to the impact we’ll make together!
